ABOUT
ACE is a software syntheziser ("soft synth") for the ATARI Falcon 030 and
it's compatibles. It features one of the most advanced sound engines ever
made for the ATARI series of computers. ACE is the gathering name for two
products, ACE Tracker and ACE MIDI. Both programs use the same high quality
sound engine which enables musicians from both worlds to exchange sounds
and ideas even if the method of making the music is completely diffrent.
ACE was started after a coding convention in Germany 1999, called Error
In Line. In the car back from Germany I got the idea to make a MIDI
controled sound engine for the Falcon.
There were some soft synths out already but noone of these had the
functionality I wanted, such as MIDI support and filters.
The project was started in the summer of 1999 and the result is here
now in 2001.
ACE is aimed at musicians who want something completely new, easy to
use, inspirational and fun to make music with.
